Štěpán Pražák – Violin

Štěpán Pražák studied at the Pilsen Conservatory under Radka Beranová and Roman Fedčuk. Already in this student period he worked as a soloist with the J.K.Tyl orchestra in Pilsen. He took part in numerous masterclasses at home and abroad and gained prizes in national and international competitions (1st place in the International Louis Spohr Competition in Germany). As soloist he worked with a whole series of professional orchestras and appeared in Czech and international festivals. He appears regularly with Musica Bohemica and with the Russian pianist Michael Kravtchin when the latter has concert tours in Europe. He has been the guest leader of the Mitteleuropa Orchestra di Udine (Italy) since 2009. He has led the Czech Philharmonic Quartet since 2014.
